The short list
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Sites can also keep small notes in browser storage such as localStorage. This site keeps both to the minimum it needs to run.
Form security
Cloudflare Turnstile protects the booking form from spam bots. It may use strictly necessary browser storage while it checks that a real person is sending the form.
A game score
The thank-you and 404 pages carry a small camera game. Your best score is saved in your browser's localStorage so you can try to beat it next time. It stays on your device, and clearing your browser data clears it.
Analytics
Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, sets first-party cookies whose names start with _ga, so it can tell a returning browser from a new one. For visitors in California, Canada, the UK and the EU it runs in a cookieless mode instead, unless they allow cookies in the banner.
Microsoft Clarity, which shows us anonymized heatmaps, sets its cookies (_clck and _clsk) only after you allow cookies in the banner. Advertising cookies and ad pixels stay off this site entirely.
To opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit, Google publishes a browser add-on.
Your controls
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site storage in its settings. Blocking everything can interfere with parts of the site, like the form's spam check.
